Mandalay Bay Shark Reef is a 5 reel slot with 5 symbols per reel.
How to Play
To select a bet, press the button and select a bet among the available bets. To start a game round, press the Spin button. Alternatively, press the keyboard space bar.
Bet Selection
When a bet is selected, the symbols on the reels change to the symbols that were on the reels at the end of the last game that was played at the selected bet. If a game has not been previously played at the selected bet, default symbols will appear on the reels.
Autoplay
To play a number of game rounds in succession, press the button, and select the number of game rounds to play. To start playing the chosen number of game rounds press the Spin button. The Spin button displays the number of Autoplays remaining and when pressed cancels Autoplay.
Turbo Mode
Turbo Mode may be enabled or disabled by pressing the button.
When Turbo Mode is enabled, certain animations during a game round are played through quickly.
Quick Play
To skip certain animations during a game round, press anywhere on the screen. Alternatively, press the keyboard space bar.
Payout Rules
A line win is awarded when a number of instances of the same symbol appear consecutively starting from the leftmost reel. Only one line win may be awarded on a single win line.
The highest line win value is always awarded. All wins occur on win lines except Instant Prize Symbols. Instant Prize wins are added to pay line wins or equivalent. Wins on separate win lines are added. The paytable reflects the current bet configuration, based on the bet per line.
Wild Shark Symbol
The Wild Shark Symbol substitutes for all other Paying symbols, except the Mystery Symbol, Bonus Symbol, and Instant Prize Symbols.
Mystery Symbols
Mystery Symbols are present on the reels in stacks of 5 and can land anywhere on the reels in both Base Game and Free Spins Feature.
When the Mystery Symbols land on the reel, the Nudge & Reveal Feature is triggered.
Nudge & Reveal Feature
When the Nudge & Reveal Feature triggers, the Mystery Symbols will open and reveal either Paying Symbols, Wild Shark Symbols or, Golden Shark Symbols.
If the Mystery Symbols reveal Paying Symbols, any existing win lines are paid. Once the Player presses to spin again, the Mystery Symbols will nudge down by 1 position with the remaining reels spinning normally. This process will repeat itself until there are no more Mystery Symbols on the reels.
Golden Reveal Feature
When the Mystery Symbol reveals the Golden Shark Symbol during Base Game or Free Spins Feature, the Golden Reveal Feature is triggered. Each position containing a Golden Shark Symbol will spin through different prizes.
During the Golden Reveal Feature, the following Symbols can be landed:
- Instant Prize Symbols;
- Multiplier Symbols;
- Collector Symbols;
- Converter Symbols;
- Nudge Up Symbols;
- Bonus Symbols.
At the end of the Golden Reveal Feature wins will evaluate the total value of all Instant Prize Symbols and Collector Symbols multiplied by their bet amount.
Instant Prize Symbol
The Instant Prize Symbol is a Prize Symbol that can land during the Golden Reveal Feature.
The Instant Prizes are Bet Multipliers and their values are: x1, x2, x5, x10, x25, x50, x100, x250, and x500
Multiplier Symbol
The Multiplier Symbol is a Symbol that can land during the Golden Reveal Feature.
When the Multiplier Symbol lands, it will multiply the value of all Instant Prize Symbols and Collector Symbols on the reels by the Multiplier Symbol’s value. The Multiplier Symbol is then removed from the reels.
The empty position will spin through all of the possible prizes.
The Multiplier values are: x2, x3, x5.
Collector Symbol
The Collector Symbol is a Symbol that can land during the Golden Reveal Feature.
When the Collector Symbol lands it will collect the value of all other Instant Prize Symbols, and will transform into an Instant Prize Symbol at the end of the current respin. All Instant Prize Symbols are removed from the reels when collected.
The empty positions will spin through all of the possible prizes.
Converter Symbol
The Converter Symbol is a Symbol that can land during the Golden Reveal Feature.
When Converter Symbol lands it will spin through Paying symbols that are on the reels of the current game round. When one of the Paying symbols lands, all Paying symbols, of the same type, will be converted into Golden Shark Symbols, and the Golden Reveal Feature will continue.
When the Golden Reveal feature ends, and the next game round takes place, all converted symbols will be converted back into the initial Paying symbol type.
Nudge Up Symbol
The Nudge Up Symbol is a Symbol that can land during the Golden Reveal Feature.
Nudge Up Symbols can land only in the Free Spins Feature.
Each Nudge Up Symbol landed causes the Mystery Symbol stacks to nudge up by 1 position.
Scatter Symbol
Bonus Symbol is a Scatter Symbol. Landing 3 or more Bonus Symbols anywhere on the reels during Base Game or/and Golden Reveal Feature will trigger the Free Spins Feature.
- Landing 3 Bonus Symbols will start the Free Spins Feature with x1 initial Total multiplier
- Landing 4 Bonus Symbols will start the Free Spins Feature with a x5 initial Total multiplier
- Landing 5 Bonus Symbols will start the Free Spins Feature with a x10 initial Total multiplier
Gamble Feature
When the Free Spins Feature is awarded, the player is given the option to gamble their awarded Free Spins Prize for the chance of a higher Prize.
When the Gamble Feature is triggered, the Gamble Wheel is presented with possible No Prize segments and segments with Free Spins Prizes higher than those won with the Bonus Symbols.
The option to collect the prize won with the Bonus Symbols is also available at this point. When the 'Collect' option is selected, the Gamble Feature ends and the corresponding Free Spins Prize is awarded.
When the Gamble option is selected, the Gamble Wheel will spin through the Free Spins Prizes and either land on a Free Spins Prize segment or a No Prize segment. If the Gamble Wheel lands on a No Prize segment, the Gamble Feature ends and the game returns back to the Base Game.
When the Gamble Wheel lands on a Free Spins Prize segment, if there is any available, the Gamble Wheel is presented again with the higher Free Spins Prize and No Prize segments.
The maximum number of successful gambles is 3. After the maximum number of successful gambles, the Free Spins Feature will be triggered with the Free Spins Prize won on the final gamble.
Free Spins Feature
If 3 or more Bonus Symbols land anywhere, the Free Spins Feature is triggered. This can happen with Bonus Symbols landing on the reels on any given spin or/and throughout the Golden Reveal Feature.
When the Free Spins feature begins, reels 2 and 4 are filled with Mystery Symbols. For every spin, the Mystery Symbols will nudge down by 1 position which causes the Total Multiplier to increase by 1.
Total Multiplier applies to all wins at the end of each spin.
Free Spins continue until there are no Mystery Symbols anywhere in view.
Any additional Mystery Symbols that land will also nudge down by 1. Any Mystery Symbols that land on the reels will trigger further Free Spins. The Total multiplier will remain even if there are no more Mystery Symbols on the screen. The last nudge down will not increase the Total multiplier.

The paytable reflects the current bet configuration, based on the Base Bet.
Bonus Buy
By pressing or clicking on the button, you will be presented with the option to buy the Free Spins Feature. You can reduce or increase your Base bet by pressing the '+' or '-' buttons. If you click the Buy button you will have the option to confirm you wish to buy the bonus by clicking or pressing the Ok button, which will start the Free Spins Feature and will deduct the total stated Feature Cost from your balance, or if you click the Cancel button you will return the Bonus Buy page.

Base Bet
The Base Bet is the bet selected for each new spin or game round.
Push Bet
Activating Push Bet mode will raise your Base Bet by 10%, increasing the chance of triggering the Free Spins Feature.
The Push Bet can be activated or deactivated by clicking or tapping the toggle above the available bets. The switch will be displayed in green when the Push Bet is active. The switch will be shown in grey when the Push Bet is inactive.
Activating Push Bet mode, will change symbols on the reels to the symbols that were on the reels at the end of the last game that was played at the selected bet. If a game has not been previously played at the selected bet, default symbols will appear on the reels.
When using the Push Bet, wins are evaluated respectively of the Base Bet amount and not the Push Bet amount.
The Push Bet can be deactivated at the end of a game round. When the game is in autoplay, the autoplays must be switched off to deactivate the Push Bet.
Additional Information
Incomplete games will be automatically resolved after 48 hours. Any winnings resulting from automatic resolve shall be paid to the player's account.
Where an incomplete game cannot be resolved, the stake will be returned to the player.
